The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mildred Martin can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

I'll really miss my Aunt Mildred. The las time I saw her the end of July she was really slowing down. I had just seen her in June, and she was happy and spry. That day I will remember for a long time. I was giving her a hug good by, and I slipped right off of my walker, or it slipped right under me and i fell to the floor. There were several elderly ladies there, including Aunt Mildred, and they were very concerned about me. But of course I just laugh and picked myself up. What I want to remember most about Aunt Mildred was all the times we would go to the dump on her day off and find the most exquisite treasures. She would bring home other peoples junk and fix it up for us to play on. I especially remember the teeter totter very go round. That was lots of fun. And I remember canning with Aunt Mildred, wedding her garden and especially eating the delicious vegetables from her garden. I Love You Aunt Mildred. I guess you finally get to meet Sherwin.
