Condolence From: Louise Vanotti Welsby
Condolence: Dear Donna and The Brunelli Family,
My cousin Georgie, what I called him, was a great friend and mentor when I was growing up. He worked for our family for many years and introduced me, my sister Diane and cousin to the rabbit business. We started out with a couple of New Zealand White does and a buck. We ended up with about 10 or 12 does and several bucks. We would sell six week old rabbits to a lady in Pueblo (Mrs. Vaughn). She in turn would butcher them and furnish the grocery markets with them in the Pueblo area for sale. We also started in 4-H with the rabbit project and were the only exhibitors at Huerfano County Fair with the Rabbit Project for several years. A great experience and a great deal of knowledge learn thanks to Georgie. He also was there when we started the marked beef project in 4-H. I think we all learned a lot from my dad during that time.
We all, Diane, Louise and Elaine admired Georgie's horse Trigger, a beautiful Palomino, that he rode. He had a great love for animals and enjoyed breeding, raising and showing them. Something he did all of his life except for a few years when he was in the service in Korea.
The service and his resting place was beautiful and very fitting for Georgie. Where Memories lead our hearts will follow, hoping that your memories will bring you to a place of peace in your heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. God Love You

Condolence: To the family of George Joseph Brunelli:
Dear Donna and Family:
I want you to know that I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your devoted husband. A father, which I know was proud, hardworking, and loyal.
I knew George a long ,long time ago, he worked for my father ,Andrew, Uncle Frank and Grandpa Steve Vanotti. He was young and very eager to learn. He worked for them for many years with cattle, horses and sometimes helped me and my sister with our rabbits. I grew to admire him. He was my big brother. He really enjoyed the animals he cared for and liked my dad, uncle and grandpa along with the rest of our family. George always did his best and always applied and shared what he had experienced and learned. He served his country during the Koran conflict. Everyone was proud but missed him very much and prayed that he would be alright and come back home save. He did all our prayers were answered. Not too very long after he came back he went to the valley to start another part of his life. I started mine also, but always wondered how he was and missed his grin and good advice that he shared many times with me. Always do your best Diane and be safe. I know he is in a wonderful place and with people he loved and admired. I look forward to seeing him again someday. He was a great big brother.
The service you had was really beautiful ,spiritual and a perfect way to say goodbye to George, until we all meet again someday. May Our Lord and Jesus be with you always.

Condolence: Dear Donna and family,
I'm so sorry to hear that George passed away. He and dad were friends for many years. They always had a smart retort to each other in their conversations. One summer when my kids were in the valley, they came home with 2 bunnies that George gave them. He even made the cage to transport the bunnies to Ft. Collins. My condolences to you and the family.
