The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Betty Gilbreth can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Memories of Aunt Betty will live on in our hearts. We have so many fun times to remember, from the time we were kids to the times we took our own children to the home in Antonito and on to our later visits in Alamosa. She was always so gracious, so lively, such a kind and wonderful aunt. After my mom died at age 67(her sister Barbara), she was like a second mother when I needed advice and she made it a point to always call me on my birthday just like my mom had done before. Since her age of 65 has she done that. With her own children and grandchildren and then great-grandchildren, to making room for me in her life was totally awesome. We share in our uncle's and cousins' sorrow, but we also know she is having a wonderful time with Susan and her sisters. We will meet again!!
