Condolence: Dear Aunt Marguerite, Little Bill, Lori, Marci and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Bill’s passing. He was so kind to me and my family, always greeting me with a “Hello, young lady.” The last time we visited Fort Garland, in 2008 I believe, I remember him scurrying out the door to buy cold cuts for lunch saying something like “These people have got to eat!”
I will always cherish his knack for storytelling and his passion for Fort Garland and its history. What an important legacy.
While losing him is difficult, know that the pain will lessen over time and your wonderful memories of him will once again bring smiles to your faces.
May God give you strength in the days ahead.
