I can't believe you've been gone for 6 years now, You should still be here.... Recently, I found some pictures of Us together from many years ago and held them gently in my hands, lost for a moment in your smile; there was a card you had given to me written in your own special way, promising to "Love me Forever", I held it gently in my hands, lost for a moment in that day...I felt the sting of my tears as they began to fall and the empty ache in my heart began to deepen. Memories, sweet gifts from you to allow my heart a breath to let me be lost for a moment to remember your Life, not just your Death. I promised you, years ago, that I would ALWAYS Love You and that you would ALWAYS have that one SPECIAL place in my Heart; both are still true to this day. I'm so thankful that you were once mine and I was once yours; we were so blessed that our friendship ALWAYS remained. With age and wisdom, I've also come to realize, that "Our minds tend to forget some of the details, but our hearts ALWAYS remember the feelings". My beloved Kerry, I miss EVERYTHING about you; your friendship, your advice, your laughter, the way your eyes always "twinkled" when you'd smile and your way of ALWAYS making things better. I know, wherever you are, that you're happy, you're flying and you're free and I'm still here grateful for knowing you~ I just NEVER imagined my life without you somewhere in it~ I Miss you Ker, I just miss you.
