Obituary for Wayne Haire
Pueblo – Monte Vista resident Wayne Haire, 75, passed away on March 5, 2015 in Pueblo, Colorado. Wayne was born on December 4, 1939 in Colquitt, Georgia to Rufus Eston “Short” and Willie Mae Haire.
Wayne worked with his hands all of his life. He worked in construction and later in life he was a produce inspector for the State of Georgia. Wayne loved to fish and work in his vegetable garden. He was a very active outdoorsman. He truly loved his family and appreciated every moment he had to spend with them. He was known for his sense of humor and had a big and loud laugh that will be missed by his family. Wayne was a lifetime member of the Baptist Church. He truly loved the Lord his Savior with all of his heart. He was a member of the Tri County Seniors scooter club and could often be seen scooting all over town.
He is survived by his daughters, Crystal (Matthew) Carroll of Monte Vista, April (Robert) King of Las Cruces, New Mexico, his grandchildren, Colby Carroll, Bailey Carroll, Jennifer Estrada and Kelsey Lane, his sister Mabel Davis, his niece Jessica Cook and many other nieces, nephews and extended family.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Esther Diffienwerth.
Cremation was selected and a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday March 9, 2015 at the Rogers Family mortuary in Monte Vista.
