Obituary for Walter H. Schwalm
Zapata resident Walter H. Schwalm, 64, died September 16, 2013 at his home in Zapata.
Walter was born in Heusheu, Germany on December 12, 1948 to Heinz and Dora Zimmer Schwalm. He married Iris Trappe on August 8, 1980.
Walter worked for many years as an Architect and his specialty was Interior Architecture. He was a bit of a cowboy at heart and loved riding horses. He enjoyed living in the Zapata Ranches and spent many hours admiring the natural beauty of the mountains.
He is survived by his wife Iris Schwalm of Zapata and his mother Dora Schwalm of Germany.
His father preceded him in death.
Cremation was chosen and private services will be held at a later date.
