Alamosa resident Susan Kay Hof, 53, passed away on July 8, 2015. She was born on March 12, 1962 in Alamosa, Colorado to Carlos and Martha Rolling Medina.
Susan was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa and was a Catechist at the church for 22 years. She was also a former school volunteer. Susan enjoyed Knitting, reading, She was a very social person and enjoyed being with friends and making new friends.
She is survived by her husband Galen Hof, her children, Samuel Martin Dean Hof and Arah Louize Hof, as well as her brothers, Matthew Medina and Carl Medina and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation was selected and a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 15, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa. A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 14, 2015 also at the church. Inurnment will follow the services in the Alamosa Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to the Alamosa Food Bank and may be made in care of the funeral home office.
