Obituary for Rudolph Eliseo "Rudy" Duran

Monte Vista resident Rudy Duran, 86, passed away on April 6, 2015. Rudy was born November 3, 1928 in Monte Vista, Colorado. Son of Fred and Antonia Duran.
Rudy worked in carpentry and later was the building inspector for the City of Alamosa. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and being outdoors especially in the mountains. Above all Rudy enjoyed the time he spend with his family, especially with his loving grand daughters.
Survivors include his Loving wife of 60 years Sara Duran, son Raul, daughter-in-law Rhonda, three beautiful granddaughters, Jordan, Jessica, and Jalyn of Monte Vista, CO. Sister Delores “Dolly” Duran Dolce, of Denver, CO
Rudy was proceeded in death by his parents, Fred and Antonia Duran, Sister Ramona Duran Balint, Brother Cornillio Duran, Sister Cornelia Duran, Brother Freddie Jr. Duran.
Cremation was selected and a Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday April 11, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monte Vista. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening also at the church.
