Obituary for Ronald Kenneth Boehm

Ronald Kenneth Boehm passed away October 27, 2013 at his home in Anthem Arizona.
He was born March 31, 1981 to Michael S. Boehm and Elaine Edgar of Hobbs New Mexico.
In May of 1999, he graduated from Bloomfield High School in the town of Bloomfield, New Mexico. He attended Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado graduating with a BA in Psychology, Sociology and a minor in Criminology. While attending Adams State College, he participated nationally in the track and field events of shot-put and discus.
While working at Dominos pizza, in Alamosa Colorado, he met his future wife Haley R. Jackson. They were married on June 11, 2005 and three children blessed this marriage Kaidence Annabelle age 7, Brooklyn Hope age 5, and Samuel Lucas age 3.
In 2004, the family moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he was employed by Anderson Security. In 2005, he began working as a Corrections Officer for the State of Arizona’s Juvenile Corrections system. By 2008, he was promoted to the position of Youth Program Supervisor and was given Managerial responsibilities. In 2011, he earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix in Glendale, Arizona.
He was an extremely hard worker and took great pride in counseling at-risk juveniles and serving alongside his fellow employees. Many of his coworkers would become his best friends. He loved to play softball and football, snowboard, golf and spend time at the lake fishing. He was often found outside spending time with friends. But more than any of these, he loved spending time with his wife and family. They were to become his greatest achievement.
He was preceded in death by his Father Michael S. Boehm, his Maternal Grandfather Kenneth D. Edgar, and his Paternal Grandmother Sandra K. George. He is survived by his wife Haley R. Boehm and his three children of Anthem Arizona. His Mother Elaine (Edgar) Flippen of Phoenix AZ., brothers Bradley R. Boehm of Farmington NM, Michael J. Boehm and Jeffrey G. Boehm of Phoenix AZ. and one sister Samantha K. Boehm of Show Low AZ., Paternal Grandparents Jeffrey R. and Mary M. Boehm of Phoenix AZ. Maternal Grandmother Crystal Edgar, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
A viewing will be held on Friday November 8, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Rogers Family Mortuary located at 205 State Ave. in Alamosa, CO.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 300 Richardson Avenue in Alamosa, CO. Interment will follow at the Uracca Cemetery in Blanca, CO. In lieu of flowers a donation towards funeral expenses would be appreciated.
