Obituary for Reetha Barbara Whittier
Reetha Barbara Whittier was born on August 5 1935 in Alamosa, Colorado. Her parents were Reed and Bertha (Roberts) Whittier. Reetha passed way in Gallatin, Tennessee on April 23, 2013 under Hospice Care with her family at her bedside.
Reetha married J.C. Henry on June 10, 2012 in Carthage Tennessee. She is survived by her husband J.C., two sons Danny (Reatha Kay) Ruggles of California and Larry Ruggles of Utah. Surviving grandsons are Ryan Ruggles of California and Cameron Ruggles of Utah. Reetha is survived by a brother Harold (Linda) Whittier of Littlefield, Arizona and two sisters Phyllis Whittier of New Mexico and Judy (Ron) Peterson of Monte Vista, Colorado. Many nieces and nephews survive.
Reetha was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Diane Ruggles.
A memorial service will be held in Reetha’s honor on July 31, at 10:00 in the Sargent Community Church.
In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Sargent Community Church through Rogers Family Mortuary, 404 Morris St., in Monte Vista, CO 81144.
