Obituary for Nestor Johnson

Antonito resident, Nestor P Johnson, 59, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Conejos County Hospital in La Jara.
He was born on December 17, 1954 in Morenci, Arizona to Oliver Johnson, Sr. and Maria Bernice Barela. He enjoyed fishing; card games, gambling and family get togethers.
Nestor is survived by his children; Paul Johnson of Antonito, Cheryl (Jerome) Yazzie of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Sherri (Sean McNally) Johnson of Jacksonville, Florida as well as his grandchildren, Mariah and Mia Yazzie, his siblings; Juby Johnson, William Johnson, Roger Johnson, John Johnson, Martin Johnson, Mary Lou Jones, Priscilla Mares, Gloria Burrola, Angie Duran, Becky Johnson, Nellie, Jenny and Eleanor as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Oliver Johnson, Jr., Julian Johnson, Frank, Joe, Marcello and Robert as well as his sister Olova.
Cremation was selected and a Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21st, 2014 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Conejos.
