Obituary for Mitchell John Tuoti

DEL NORTE—Del Norte resident Mitchell Tuoti, 16, died August 2, 2013 at his home in Del Norte.
Mitchell was born July 11, 1997 in Alamosa, Colorado the son to Lyle Joseph and Lucy Ann Woodruff Tuoti.
He was in the 9th grade at Del Norte High School. He was a member of the football team and the bowling team. Mitchell enjoyed fishing, riding ATV’s, hunting and skeet shooting. He was involved in the Boy Scouts and enjoyed taking part in activities at his church. Mitchell especially enjoyed spending time with his family, telling his mother, father and brother Joe that he was taller than them and always had a positive outlook on life.
He is survived by his parents Lyle and Lucy Tuoti of Del Norte; his brothers: Matthew Tuoti of Alamosa and Josef Tuoti of Del Norte, CO; his Maternal Grandfather Carl Woodruff of Del Norte; Paternal Grandmother LaNelle Allan of Spokane, WA; his uncles Gregory Tuoti of Utah and Jonathan Tuoti of Arizona.
His brother Brandon Tuoti, Grandmother Agnes Woodruff, Grandfather Joseph Tuoti, paternal great grandparents John and Pauling Cado all preceded him in death.
A visitation will be held from 5-8 P.M. Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Monte Vista and from 9:00-9:45 A.M. Saturday morning, August 10, 2013 at the Monte Vista Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow services in the Del Norte Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to Brent’s Place in Denver or to the Del Norte Branch Missionary Fund or Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Humanitarian Fund
