Obituary for Mary Mattie Waldron

Mary Mattie Waldron, age 86, from Antonito, Colorado, passed away April 16, 2015, in Alamosa, Colorado. Mary was born February 21, 1929, in Las Mesitas. She was born to Maria Sidelia Gomez and Jose Armenio Ruybal.
Mary worked for IBM as a supervisor in San Jose, California until she retired. Mary enjoyed music and would brighten people's days by spontaneously breaking into a lively song. She had a beautiful voice, and also danced as often as she could. She enjoyed feeding anyone fortunate enough to enjoy her delicious meals; she loved pizza and Mt. Dew. When things were going exceptionally well, she would often exclaim, "See? Just like down-town San Jose!" She made friends everywhere she went and was loved by many.
Mary is survived by one brother, Armenio Manual Ruybal, and two sisters, Virginia Zertachi and Betty Cruz. She was preceded in death by Soledad (Blondie) Romero, Eufelia Lonnie Martinez, and Richard Joseph Ruybal.
Mary was an avid supporter of the Humane Society, and any contributions would be greatly appreciated
A viewing will take place Tuesday April 21st from 10:00 to 10:45 A.M. at the Fox Creek branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with a funeral service to follow starting at 11:00.
