Marshall Ray  McDaniel
La Jara resident Marshall Ray McDaniel, 54, died September 23, 2016 at the Sangre de Cristo Hospice in Pueblo.

Marshall was born in Alamosa on September 9, 1962, the son of Leland and Martha Wright McDaniel.

He worked in Medical Billing for many years. Marshall remained upbeat and held on to a happy outlook, no matter the challenge or obstacle.

Marshall is survived by his father Leland McDaniel of Alamosa; his children Jared and Joshua McDaniel; and his sister Sharon Beal of Surprise, AZ.

His mother Martha preceded him in death in 2010.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa and on Friday, September 30th from 9:00-9:45 am in the Relief Society Room at the church. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2016 at the La Jara Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will follow services in the Sanford Cemetery.
