Obituary for Manuel Joseph Padia

Monte Vista resident Manuel Joseph Padia, 52, passed away on March 11, 2015. Manuel was born to Joseph “Gus” and Mabel Vigil Padia. He graduated from Monte Vista High School in 1981. Manuel enjoyed spending time with his family and made everyday a celebration of life. He loved his friends, Barbecuing, the Broncos and dancing. He will be greatly missed.
Manuel is survived by his mother Mabel Padia, his sister Lorraine Padia, his daughter Tiffany Martinez, his grandchildren Maliyah and Genesis, his nieces Leann, Yvonne and Shannon, and nephews Jason and Armando; as well as many extended family members and loved friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gus Padia, his paternal grandmother, Irene “Grammy” Padia, as well as his maternal grandparents Hilda and Ricardo Fresquez.
Cremation was selected and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 5:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Elks Lodge in Monte Vista. A Recitation of the Rosary will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 16th at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monte Vista.
