Obituary for Lola Marie Jones
Alamosa resident Lola Marie Jones, 95, died March 7, 2013 at the Evergreen Nursing Home in Alamosa under Hospice care. She was born in Tarpley, Texas to Martha (Hermes) and John Ryle.
Lola enjoyed sewing, crafts and collecting pictures of her family and ancestors.
She is survived by two children Lynne (Erwin) Young of Alamosa, Colorado and Richard (Debbie) Jones of Vestal, New York; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Her parents, her brother Boyd and his wife Helena Ryle of Aquilla, Texas and a great-grandson Mark David Young, Jr. all preceded her in death.
A Visitation will be held from 8:30-10:00 a.m. at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa followed by a Graveside Service 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Alamosa Cemetery. Contributions in her memory are suggested to Hospice del Valle, 514 Main Street, Alamosa, CO 81101.
