Josephine  Stolp
Josephine Stolp, 62, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Monte Vista Estates on October 9, 2016. Josephine blessed this world with her presence on May 19, 1954 to Jose S. Archuleta and and Tillie Trujillo-Archuleta.

Josie loved spending time with her family and friends and was a hard worker and a kind soul. She had been fighting dementia since 2008.

Survivors include her siblings Donald (Isabelle) Archuleta, Andy Archuleta, Ronnie (Shelley) Archuleta, David Archuleta, Gilbert Archuleta, Darrell Archuleta, Bertha (Gil) Gonzales, Ana Giauld, Emily Archuleta, and Linda Archuleta, her daughters Nura Ismail and Alexis Stolp, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Josephine was preceded in death by her father Jose, mother Tillie, her sister Priscilla and her nephew Moses.

A Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at Rogers Family Mortuary in Monte Vista. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. also at Rogers Family Mortuary in Monte Vista. Interment will follow at the San Luis Valley Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
