The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John "Doc" "Jack" Cotton can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Richard Ulrich
Condolence: Dear Cotton Family Members:

Pam and I were saddened to hear of Jack's passing. Jack welcomed us to Alamosa and Adams State and always made us feel like we belonged. Jack was an interesting individual and one of the best story tellers I have ever known. We had many fun times together and memorable experiences. No one can ever say that Jack did not live life to the fullest, the best compliment you can give to an individual. Jack may be gone but the memories will live on. We extend our sincere condolences to all family members.

Sincerely,
Richard and Pamela Ulrich
Adams State and Alamosa residents 1973-84.

Condolence: To Mrs Cotton and all of the Cotton family:
Pam and I would like to express our deepest sympathy Dr. Cotton was a special man who impacted many lives and made the world a better place for those who knew him. I tried to call Dr. Cotton on this past Saturday and left a message. I will forever be indebted to him for the many times he stopped by the Legacy in Monte Vista without ever once being asked to do so to visit with my Mother Millie Brown. God Bless Dr. Jack Cotton, God be with the entire Cotton Family.
