Obituary for Joan Clifford

Joan Wall Clifford, age 78, died peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 21, 2014 under Hospice care. Joan courageously fought lung cancer for several years before she succumbed.
Friends fondly remember Joan as a loyal friend, a gracious hostess and a great wit. Joan was very stylish and dressed in the finest clothes.
Joan was born in San Antonio, Texas and spent most of her life in her favorite city. Joan was proud of Texas and took every opportunity to brag about what she believed was the best state in the U.S. Joan will be interred in San Antonio.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Clifford. She was also preceded by her son Jim Tenney who died on January 23, 2012, also under Hospice care. She is survived by her grandchildren Sharon Culbertson and James R. Tenney who reside in the San Antonio area.
