Obituary for Janet Lee Kopfman
Monte Vista resident Janet Lee Kopfman, 83, died November 27, 2012 at the Rio Grande Hospital in Del Norte.
Janet was born in Alamosa to William and Ruth Mae Sides. She graduated from Monte Vista High School and earned her degree from the Barnes Business College in Denver.
She lived for most of her adult life in Colusa, California and enjoyed her retirement in Monte Vista.
Janet was an active member of the Methodist Church and enjoyed playing card games, especially Bridge. She also loved the mountains.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmer Lou Kopfman, her children Jay W. and Kirt D. Kopfman, and her brother William A. Sides.
She is survived by many loving friends and extended family.
Cremation was chosen and private services will be held.
