Obituary for Isabel Suazo

Denver – Longtime Alamosa resident Isabel Deluvina Suazo, 79, passed away at University Hospital in Denver on February 25, 2014.
She was born on March 24, 1934 to Trinidad and Lucy Aceves in Las Animas, Colorado. Isabel was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Alamosa and the Catholic Daughters; she volunteered much of her time at the St. Vincent DePaul Thrift store and at one time was running its day to day business. In her younger years she enjoyed hiking up to mountain top lakes and fishing. She enjoyed her flowers and working in her yard. Decorating her home around Christmas became a family tradition and Isabel won a few local contests for her decorated home. She will be greatly missed by all, for her caring and loving ways.
Isabel is survived by her husband Epifanio Suazo of the family home, her children; Ross Lovato of Alamosa, John Lovato of Alamosa, Andreita (Jay Farr) Lovato of Denver and Yolanda Martinez of Alamosa, as well as her grandchildren; Jessica Martinez of the family home, Olivia and Jose Martinez, Adrianna and Vicente Burrola all of Denver, her great grandchildren; Iesha, Thomas, Leticia, Fabian and Anthony all of the family home, Alicia, Bryanna and Daysia, Isaiah, Romeo and Anaya all of Denver, her sister Mary Aceves of Salinas, California, special family friend Johnny Espinoza as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Ross Lovato and her brothers; Raymond Aceves, David Aceves and Joe Aceves.
Cremation was selected and a Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday March 7, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa. A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday also at the church.
