Obituary for Iris J. Belt

Alamosa resident Iris J. Belt passed away May 11, 2013 at the San Luis Valley Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Iris was born April 12, 1918 in Stratton, Colorado the daughter of Arthur Lee Stroumbaugh and Rachel Lee. She married Edward Lear Belt on February 6, 1934.
Survivors include her daughters Audrey (Raymond) Price, Donna (Tom) Ford, her grandchildren Deborah Ford, Ann (Dean) Ross, Jan Burris (Ron DeSutel), Ron (Annette) Price, Linda (Jim) Holman, Wade (Amy) Price and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Lear Belt and her son Larry Lear Belt.
A Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:45 A.M. on Friday, May 17, 2013 followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. at Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa. Burial will follow at the San Luis Valley Cemetery in Monte Vista, Colorado.
