Obituary for Glen Clair Hufman Jr.

Glen (Putsie) Clair Hufman, Jr. 87, passed away on Saturday November 10, 2012 in Blanca, Colorado.
He was born on December 13, 1924 to Glen Clair Hufman, Sr. and Rosetta Mang-Hufman in Blanca, Colorado. He was born and raised on the farm that was obtained in a land drawing by his grandfather in the late 1900’s and homesteaded by his father. Glen began raising Sheep when he was 18 and continued working with them until he was 71, when he retired.
Glen is survived by his wife Thelma Marie Hufman of the family home, his children; Jerry (Thelma) Hufman of Loveland, Colorado, Bob (Jenifer) Hufman of Hoehne, Colorado, Lee (Laura) Hufman Grand Junction, Colorado, Murleen (Dale) Goodrich of Alamosa, Colorado and Ardith (Darrell) Gifford of Florence, Colorado along with 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, along with his brother Robert (Cubby), (Betty) Hufman of Lewiston, Idaho along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son Norman Hufman.
Cremation was selected and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday November 28, 2012 at the Alamosa Seventh Day Adventist Church. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Sunshine Christian School and may be made through the funeral home office.
