The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Edker Wilson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Edker made friends wherever he went. He was regarded for his nature and his devotion to rodeo and rodeo people. I had known him for years when he surprised me one day, telling me of his friendship with my two oldest brothers and having hunted wild horses with them in Northern New Mexico. Nobody told a story better than Edker. I

Condolence: I knew Edker as a contestant at his rodeos and also as a fellow board member of the North American Rodeo Commission. He gave meaning to the word
"gentleman"in every aspect. He was an excellent stock contractor hopefully he is now with "Doc" his
outstanding saddle bronc. Happy trails my friend!

Condolence From: Brett and Smiley Shawcroft
Condolence: Edker was a 'light' in so many lives--- and certainly in Brett's life and mine. He was a great person to work for --- me as a rodeo secretary and Brett as a pickup man --- and then as a neighbor, confidant, and friend. He had uncanny knowledge of humanity and of livestock. He was a success in life and it has been an honor to know him and his family and share his life and wisdom. God Bless --- Thank you so much for letting us cross paths in life. Rest In Peace --- you have well earned it.

Condolence From: Vincent B Rogers
Condolence: I remember as young boy in the rodeo in Manassa and other areas participating with the Wilson rodeo stock. Edgar would always give encouragement to us boys on how to rode our horses or if we were gonna get on a stear. He would come to a Rogers family reunion every 2 years at Jesse and Betty Roger's place near Sanford, CO because he said Uncle Con Rogers was like a brother to him and he felt he belong to the Rogers family. Edker rest in peace and thank you for the memories.
