Obituary for Eddie S. Romero

Valley resident Eddie S. Romero, 87, passed away on March 15, 2013. He was born to Edward and Rose Romero in Conejos, Colorado on May 21, 1925. He graduated from Sargent School and honorably served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his children Billy (June) Romero of Commerce City, Colorado, June (Ron) Romero of Denver, Colorado and Peggy Sanders of Front Royal Virginia, along with his grandchildren; Robbie and Rhonda Romero, Rochelle Martin, Rudy, Randy and Anna Saiz, and Brandon Sanders, as well as 12 great grand children, 4 great great grandchildren and his sister Alice Pacheco of New Mexico.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings; Mary Garcia, Naomi Lee, Chlorinda Lara, Aggie Romero and Rudy Romero.
Cremation was selected and a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday March 22, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monte Vista. A recitation of the Rosary service will be held on Thursday evening at 7:00 PM also at the church in Monte Vista. Inurnment will take place at a later time in the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
