Obituary for Charles Arlen Doyle

Canon City – Former Alamosa resident Charles Arlen Doyle, 68, passed away on March 19, 2015 in Canon City, Colorado. He was born on October 12, 1946 to Cameron and Stella Lucero Doyle in Alamosa, Colorado. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, was an avid Bronco’s fan, visiting with friends and family, was an active outdoorsman and loved everyone.
He is survived by his children, Arlen Wesley Doyle of Alamosa, Charles Brian (Leslie) Doyle of Alamosa, Francine Gallegos of Alamosa, Steven (Anna Rae) Gallegos of Turlosa, New Mexico, and Leora Duran of Alamosa, his special friend Tonie Lopez of Alamosa, his grandchildren, Ashley (Jose) Gonzalez, Devon Doyle, Kalin Doyle, Alison Doyle, Shay Doyle, DeAndra Doyle, Lexi Gallegos, Rosemary Gallegos, Josiah Duran, Ashlyn Duran, Dakota Burciago, Noah Burciago, Anthony Galves and Aliyah Galves, his great grandchildren, Carson Gonzalez and Cade Gonzalez, his siblings, Duane (Betty) Doyle and Lupita De Herrera as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday March 25, 2015 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in La Jara. A Vigil service with recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 24, 2015 also at the church in La Jara. Cremation will take place following the services.
