Obituary for Charles Edward "Charlie" Blickhahn

Longtime Alamosa resident Charles Edward Blickhahn, 62, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2012 at the University Hospital in Aurora.
Charlie worked for many years in Alamosa as a salesman at Town and Country and Holiday RV South. In years past, he was actively involved in the Alamosa Kiwanis Club.
He enjoyed spending time at the family cabin near Platoro and loved to fish and duck hunt. He will be remembered for his keen sense of humor. Charlie also loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Jean Blickhahn of Alamosa; his children Charlie, Lindsay, Melissa, Delhia (Greg) Mahaney, and Tanya Anthony; his siblings George “Blick” (Anita) Blickhahn, Susie (Phil) Caragol, Tommy (Ann) Blickhahn; as well as six grandchildren Sean and Zach Mahaney, Emory Moseby, Aale and Kaili Arslan, and Yazmin Sanchez, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Henry “Hank” and Eileen Blickhahn.
Cremation was chosen and a Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center Oncology Infusion Center.
