Chantillie Maggie Glorie Garza-Duran, 31, passed away on July 31, 2018. Chantillie was born August 19, 1986 to Joe Garza and Theresa Archuleta in Alamosa, Colorado.

Chantillie loved spending her time listening to music, roadtrips to visit family and friends. She was ray of sunshine that would light up a room with her amazing smile, she had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She especially loved spending time with her family and enjoyed making memories with her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Chantillie is survived by her siblings; Joshua “Pete” (Lisa) Garza, Arthur (Eva) Garza, and Joleen (Brian Wright) Garza. Her nieces and nephews; Yesenia Garza, Casamira Garza, Adonia Garza, Teresa Garza, Malachi Martinez, and Matthew Wright. She is also survived by numerous other extended family and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tobias Brandon Duran. Her parents; Joe Garza, and Theresa Archuleta. Her paternal grandparents; Margarita and Arthur Garza. Her maternal grandparents; Victor and Tillie Archuleta. As well as her nephew, Christopher Lozoya.

A Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday August 7, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monte Vista. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday August 8, 2018 also at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monte Vista. Burial will follow services at the San Luis Valley Cemetery.
