Obituary for Bruce Edward Morton

Del Norte Resident, Bruce Edward Morton, 61, died suddenly on Saturday July 6th, 2013, at Canon City, Colorado. Bruce was born on November 7, 1951 at Beloit, Kansas, to Earl and Joan Morton. Bruce was raised on the family farm at Beverly, Kansas. He was in the Banking Business professionally, until he retired in 2007. Bruce loved the Colorado Mountains and moved to Del Norte in 1999 to work for Community Banks. He will be missed by so many, especially his loving companion Vicki. Bruce's wish was cremation and then to be buried in Beverly, Kansas at the Family Plot. A memorial is being planned for September at Beverly, Kansas. A memorial will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 14th, at Rogers Family Mortuary in Monte Vista. This will be a time of celebration for all those that new and loved Bruce.
