Obituary for Ann F. Kopfman

Alamosa resident Ann F. Kopfman, 80, passed away December 17, 2013 under hospice care at The Bridge at Alamosa.
Ann was the only child born to Paul I. and Virginia Wright Bosche on September 26, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Bill Kopfman in 1984 and they shared 16 years prior to his death in 2000.
Ann attended and graduated from Alamosa High School. She worked for many years as a Rural Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service. Ann was active as a Past Worthy Matron of Golden Grain Eastern Star in Center and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #131. She was also a member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge 1297 in Alamosa.
Ann enjoyed the outdoors including hunting, fishing and spending time at her cabin at Pearl Lakes.
Ann is survived by her children Roxi (Gary “Skip” Dearing) Finley of Monte Vista; Reno (Mary Lou) Finley of Colorado Springs; her grandchildren Tia Finley and Christopher Finley and two great-grandchildren.
Her parents and her husband preceded her in death.
Cremation was chosen and a Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa. Contributions may be made to the Conour Animal Shelter of Monte Vista in care of the funeral home office.
