Obituary for Addelina Yolanda DeLuna
Addelina Yolanda DeLuna, 3, died May 7, 2014 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Addelina was born in Alamosa, Colorado to Ralph DeLuna and Janicka Benally on October 13, 2010.
Addelina is survived by her parents Ralph DeLuna and Janicka Benally; her siblings Aubry Esperanza DeLuna of Alamosa, Davina DeLuna of Alamosa, Julian DeLuna of Alamosa, Leila Mascarenas of Pueblo and Leilah DeLuna of Pueblo; her paternal grandparents Robert and Yolanda DeLuna of Alamosa; maternal grandparents Frederick Benally of New Mexico and Rena Wilson of Alamosa; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Addelina was a very happy person and loved to dance. She also enjoyed coloring and spending time playing with her sister Aubrey. She would pretend to talk on the phone and carry on conversations. Her favorite color was purple. Addelina was very curious about many things and loved to play in the snow and especially eat snow. Her favorite foods were milk and cheese.
A Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the River of Life Assembly of God Church in Alamosa. Interment will follow services in the Alamosa Cemetery. Contributions may be made to her father Ralph Deluna in her memory. Her family would like to thank all who have been so supportive through cards, phone calls, visits, gifts and donations, it is deeply appreciated.
