Alamosa resident Thomas Francis Goodwin, Jr., 73, passed away on September 1, 2021. He was born on September 25, 1946 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Thomas Francis Sr. and Grace Lee (Matthews) Goodwin. He honorably served in the United States Army. Thomas was a member of Living Water and was involved in many community outreach events as well as the veteran's coalition. He enjoyed traveling, hiking, fishing and was especially fond of music. He enjoyed being near the ocean and above all, he loved spending time with his children and family. Thomas is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sandra Goodwin, his children, Sarah Shey (Goodwin) and Jason Senteney, sixteen grandchildren, his brothers, Daniel Goodwin and Russell Goodwin as well as numerous neices, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Samuel Goodwin. Cremation was selected and an Irish Wake and Memorial will be held at a later time.
