Thomas Alfred
Baynard
March 22, 1968 – June 8, 2026
Thomas Alfred Baynard, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, at the age of 57. Born on March 22, 1968, Thomas lived a life filled with passion, laughter, adventure, and love. His presence brought comfort and joy to those around him, and the memories he created will be treasured forever.
Thomas approached life with a spirit of curiosity and enthusiasm. A true jack-of-all-trades, he embraced every opportunity to learn, create, and connect with others. Whether he was riding his motorcycle along an open highway, strumming his guitar, or sharing stories and laughter with family and friends, Thomas found joy in life's simple and meaningful moments.
Music was one of his great loves, and through his guitar, he expressed a part of himself that words could never fully capture. He was also an avid gamer who valued the friendships forged through countless hours of strategy, teamwork, and fun. Some of his fondest memories were made playing Fleet Commander.
Thomas was a devoted fan of Star Trek, drawn to its themes of exploration, hope, and friendship. Those ideals reflected the way he lived his own life—with an open heart, a sense of adventure, and a genuine appreciation for the people around him.
Above all else, Thomas cherished his family. He shared a deep and enduring love with his wife, Lori Baynard, whose companionship, support, and devotion were a constant source of strength and happiness throughout his life. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
Thomas leaves behind his loving wife, Lori Baynard; his children, Tiffany (James Moser) Boulden, Jessica Baynard, Steven (Cheyenne Masselis) Baynard, Heather (Wylie Selvey) Baynard, Thomas Jr. Baynard, and Michael C. Baynard; his sister, Juanita Kylander; his brother-in-law, Joe Stajkowski; and his beloved grandchildren, Logan Lindgren, ElizabethRose Lindgren, Zephyr Baynard-Selvey, and Dean Baynard-Selvey. He is also survived by two nephews and one niece, along with many friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Alfred Baynard and Jewell Dean Elrod, and his sister, Julie Stajkowski.
Those who knew Thomas will remember his infectious laugh, his generous heart, and his ability to make others feel welcome and valued. He had a gift for bringing people together, whether through music, gaming, shared adventures, or simply a conversation among friends. His kindness, humor, and unwavering love for those closest to him leave a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
While his absence leaves a space that can never be filled, the love he gave, the memories he created, and the lives he touched remain as lasting reminders of a life well lived. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
"Live long and prosper."
