Theodore "Ted" Frank Stokes, 84, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, in South Fork, Colorado. Born on January 16, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, Ted lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to his family.

After proudly serving in the United States Navy from 1959-1961, Ted built a career as a UPS driver. His friendly smile and dependable nature made him a familiar and welcome face to many along his routes.

Ted had a playful spirit, he loved telling stories, cracking jokes, and pulling the occasional prank to keep everyone smiling. A man of many talents, he also had a deep love for art. Whether with family, around the pool table, under the hood of his cars, or with a paintbrush in hand, Ted lived life with joy.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Theresa Enriquez and his son Daniel Stokes. Ted is survived by his beloved wife, Petra Stokes; daughters Maria Goldy and Susie Miller; and his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Though he has left this world, Ted's memory will live on in the stories we share, the laughter we remember, and the love he gave so freely.
