Terry L. Kless, 69, a resident of La Jara, Colorado, and formerly of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on July 6, 2026. She was born on May 28, 1957.

Terry worked throughout her life in cooking and housekeeping, where she was known for her strong work ethic and caring nature. She was a talented and creative woman who enjoyed arts and crafts, coloring, making jewelry, creating Dreamcatchers, making Native American-inspired headdresses, and crocheting. Above all else, Terry cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, who brought her the greatest joy in life.

Terry is survived by her daughter, Crystal (Glen) Douglas; her son, Richard (Kim) Poston; her grandchildren, Leyna Lybarger, Kya Sky Bountin, and Michael Edwards Kless-Douglas; her sisters, Kathy (Jim) Bartholomew and Jerry (Lee) Houchin; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry Deniven and Nelly Evelyn Freed; her brother, Ronald Kless Jr.; and her grandson, Johnny Austin Richard Martin.

In accordance with Terry’s wishes, no services will be held. Cremation has been entrusted to Rogers Family Mortuary.
