Steven Guymon, born on January 30, 1966, in Alamosa, Colorado, passed away on April 17, 2026, in La Jara, Colorado. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed.

Steven enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He had a love for Spanish music that brightened his days and often rode his bicycle anywhere he could, sharing many adventures with his brother, Martin. Steven also had a knack for collecting Matchbox cars, which brought him endless joy, and he never turned down a cold Mountain Dew. A fan of sports, he loved to watch games or, when that wasn't possible, would happily tune in on the radio to catch all the action. Steven was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his brothers, Michael (Debra) Guymon of Mt. Vernon, MI; his sister, Carolene (Robert) Parberry of Sanford, CO; and his sister, Sandra Allaart of Aurora, CO. He is also survived by a special great-nephew, that was very close to Steven, Tyson Schroeder; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and extended family and friends. Steven was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Guymon, his mother Willma Fae Flores, and his brother Martin Guymon.

In honor of Steven's life, a public viewing will take place on April 23, 2026, at 2 PM - 4:00 PM at Rogers Family Mortuary's Alamosa location. The following day, Friday, April 24, 2026, there will be a public viewing at the La Jara Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints starting at 9 AM - 9:45 AM, leading up to the funeral service at 10 AM. Following the service, Steven will be laid to rest at the Sanford Cemetery in Sanford.
