Stephen Lee Blount died at his home in Del Norte under hospice care on December18,2024. He was born in Charleston South Carolina on October 1,1952 to Herbert and Phyllis (Snyder) Blount. He lived in many places during his youth but spent his adolescent and young adult years in Auburn Kansas, where he met his wife of 50 years, Paula (Courts) Blount.

He is survived by his wife Paula Blount of Del Norte Colorado, daughter Kate Blount, son Henry Lee (Jamie) Blount, grand daughters Mayleigh and Ayla, and son William Blount all of Monte Vista, Colorado. His brothers Terry and Tim Blount of Topeka, Kansas. His mother-in-law Iola Courts of Monte Vista, Colorado. As well as numerous nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Herbert and Phyllis Blount, his sister Linda Blount Uehling, and his father-in-law James Courts.

Steve enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and dogs.
