Obituary

Blanket my final resting place

With daisies turning their golden centers

Toward the sun;

Their white petals fluttering in the breeze,

Flowing with it...every one.

May this simple-as-a-daisy soul

Find rest and peace with God

When this earthly journey's done.

"Sandy, like a beach" - how she always introduced herself, had several

careers throughout her life, but her passions were writing and teaching. At

the age of nine she wrote her first poem "Our Flag" which sparked her

desire to continue to write throughout her life which produced two published

Sandy always had an original poem on the tip of her tongue that she would
