Roxianna
Jackson
November 1, 1952 – April 19, 2026
Roxianna "Roxie" Jackson, born on November 1, 1952, in Del Norte, Colorado, peacefully passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 73. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Roxie leaves behind a rich legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories.
Roxie was married to her devoted husband, Robbie Jackson, on February 14, 1993, with whom she shared a beautiful life centered around their passion for the outdoors. Together, they maintained the Cattails Golf Course in Alamosa, where Roxie found joy not only in the sport of golf but also in nurturing the land and community she adored. Her vibrant spirit resonated through her love for fishing, and she reveled in the tranquility and beauty that nature provided. She had a special love for her dogs, who she affectionately cared for like her own children.
A proud mother, Roxie is survived by her son, Kenneth (Jenn) Shawcroft, as well as her daughters, Sarah (Theodore) Valdez and Kelli Shawcroft. She took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to Lindin Shawcroft, Dustin (Alishia) Maul, Jessica Redd, Jonathan Garcia, Mikayla Pacheco, Kylee Pacheco, and Jordan Salazar, and she found great happiness in her great-grandchildren, Jeriah Maul and Valour Maul. Roxianna deeply cherished her family and was a constant source of love and support.
Roxie is also survived by her siblings, including her brothers David Vance and Brian (Sheri) Vance, and her sisters Mary Crowther, Julia (Bill) Mortensen, and Celia Riddick; as well as her sister-in-law Sherrie (Robert) Hagedorn. Her warm presence will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Roxie will be laid to rest through cremation, a fitting tribute to a woman who embraced life and nature wholeheartedly.
Roxie was preceded in death by her parents Ralph Vance, and Louise Vance, her sister Janet Vance Matthews, and her parents-in-law B.F. Jackson and Doris Jackson.
