Rosalie E. Brewer Rosalie Elizabeth Brewer was born on March 13, 1934 and passed away December 3rd 2021. Beloved daughter of Ed and Sadie Brewer, Granddaughter of Rose and Charlie Knoblauch and Eugene Hayes, and Jenkins and Sara Brewer. She leaves behind her children Janet and John McColm, Kathy and Benny Sabin, Howard and Lisa Caldwell. Her grandchildren that she was so proud of Kimberly and Garth Mathes, Joni and James Turner, Kevin and Kaitlin McColm, Jeremiah and Heather Caldwell, Timmy and Moriah Caldwell, Carl Sturgill, Vickey Scarberry, Jamie Rowe and Kimberly Lindsey. Rosie had 23 great grandchildren, Sheldon and McKenzie Mathes, Cyndl Mathes, Cody Mathes, Anastasia Mathes, Emma Turner, Jaimey Turner, Payton Turner, Charley Turner, Spencer McColm, Ryker McColm, Isaiah and Kaylee Caldwell, Kamrian Scarberry, Chrystian and Alannta Sturgill, Allena Bromnfield, Braxton Rowe, Summer Furgeson, Nichole Furgeson, Dementris and Falynn Scarberry, Robby Lindsey. She had 3 great great grandchildren. Callista Robbins, Ezekiel Mathes and Alex Gurule, with 2 more on the way, and many nephews and nieces. She was so excited every time a new baby was coming to the family she would have to stop and count each one. Family was the most important thing to her. In her younger years she was a waitress at many cafes in Alamosa. She loved her coffee drinkers! She also worked at the Alamosa Rotary Club with her Aunt Donnie Wallace. She loved Christmas with all the pretty lights and couldn't wait to put up her tree. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and all her brothers; Emory and (Carol) Brewer, Earl and (Laura) Brewer and Robert and (Carol) Brewer. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday December 10, 2021 at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa with interment following in the Alamosa Cemetery.
