Alamosa resident Pearl June Archuleta, 76, passed away on April 14, 2023. She was born on June 13, 1946 in Leadville, Colorado to Ernest and Clara (Valdez) Cortez.

June was a member of the Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, Veterans of Foreign War Auxillary and enjoyed bingo, casinos, family gatherings, listening to music and watching game shows. She touched many hearts as a strong, loving, and caring daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend.

June is survived by her children, Regina Archuleta of Fort Collins, Reginaldo Archuleta of Fort Garland, Amy Martinez and Rudy Herrera of Denver, Angelo and Monica Archuleta of Alamosa, Abraham and Jessica Archuleta of Bellview, Robbie and Courtney Cortez of Moffat and Patsy Cortez of Alamosa, fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, her former husband Reggie Archuleta and her longtime partner Manuel Avila, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

June was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Sandy Cortez, Joel Cortez and Anna Marie Cortez all of Alamosa, and her grandson Adam Sanchez.
