Patsy May
Adam
May 17, 1947 – February 22, 2026
Patsy "Pat" May Adam, AKA "Pat Bundy" a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, departed from this world gracefully on February 22, 2026, in her hometown of Alamosa, Colorado, at the age of 78. Born on May 17, 1947, to Owen and Laura McColm, Pat became a beacon of love and kindness known to all within her community.
Pat left behind a legacy of warmth and devotion, through her son Patrick Hamilton of Alamosa, CO, and her daughter Sharon (Dan) Warwick of Center. She basked in the joys of grandparenthood with her grandchildren Tyler (Alexia) Hamilton of Salem, OR, Nolan "James" Eller, and Matthew (Jacque) Hamilton of Alamosa. She was a beloved sister to John (Janet) McColm of Alamosa, Lollie Wobith of Mosca, Annie Aldridge of Alamosa, and Michael (Marie) McColm of Monte Vista. Pat joined in heaven her late parents, her adored husband Elmer Adam, her brothers Owen and Bill McColm, and her sisters Lenie Goodman and Judy Lancaster.
Pat was an integral part of the Alamosa community, remembered not only for her familial devotion but also for her many years of service as a compassionate bus driver for Alamosa Public Schools. Later, she transitioned to Wal Mart, where she continued to touch lives as a dedicated Sales Associate.
A woman of many passions, Pat's love for her family was paramount. Her garden was a testament to her nurturing spirit. Similarly, each of her cherished Chihuahua dogs was treated not merely as a pet but as a member of her family, receiving boundless affection and care.
Patsy May Adam's life is one to be celebrated and remembered. Though she has set off on her final journey, her story is etched in the hearts of her family, her friends, and the community she so dearly loved. Rest in peace, dear Pat—we will hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in heaven.
There will be a memorial service to honor Pat's life on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa, at 1 p.m. To leave online condolences, tributes and words of comfort for Pat's family please visit www.RogersFunerals.com.
