Obituary

Patricia Ann (Crook) Cordero, 72, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 26, 2026. She was born December 29, 1953, in Tooele, Utah, to Curtis and Anna (Cruz) Crook.

Pat was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her daughters DeeAnn (Pablo) Sierra of Del Norte, CO, Amy Richardson of Del Norte, CO, and Sam (James) Crawford of Alamosa, CO; along with her siblings, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Ronnie Richardson, her daughter Christina Cordero, and her former husband, John Cordero.

Pat loved Jesus with her whole heart and was a faithful prayer warrior. She found joy in singing praises, cooking, music, and caring for her beautiful flower garden. Known for her quick wit, playful humor, and love of trivia, she brought laughter and light to those around her.

Patricia's favorite scripture was Acts 17:28: "For in Him we live and move and have our being."

With faith, we trust she as entered into eternal peace and the presence of her Savior.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Feed Store Church in Monte Vista, CO. Pat was a bright spot on this world and loved color. Attendees are invited to wear red, her favorite color, as a celebration to the light and the joy she always brought to others.
