Longtime Del Norte resident Obbie Lee Dickey, 91, passed away on December 11, 2021. He was born on October 1, 1930 in Stonington, Colorado to Theodore Arthur and Amber (Herford) Dickey. Obbie was a farmer and rancher all of his life. He was involved in the Colorado Cattleman's Association as well as the Colorado Outfitters Association. He loved riding horses and fishing. Obbie is survived by his sons, Robert (Jody) Dickey and Gary (Brigitte) Dickey, as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Willa Lee Dickey and his brothers, Ralph Dickey and Quinton Dickey. Cremation was selected and services will be held later. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Rio Grande Hospital or the San Luis Valley Cancer Center and may be made in care of the funeral home office.
