La Jara resident Michael Patrick Gonzales, 82, passed away at San Luis Valley Health in La Jara on

December 1, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

Michael is survived by his wife Loretta Rosanne Gonzales of La Jara; son Michael Ramon Gonzales

(Shawna Vigil) of Pueblo, daughter Lisa Gonzales-Schaich (Steven) of Monte Vista; grandchildren

Autumn Vigil (Matt), and Connor Vigil; sisters Louise Pearson of Colorado Springs, Elizabeth Turner of

Houston Texas; as well as numerous nephews and a niece.

He is preceded in death by his parents Asisclo and Alice (Buckwalter) Gonzales, parents-in-law Joe and

Frida Casias; and his sister Christina Gonzales.

Cremation has been chosen and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Rogers Family Mortuary
