Max Jeffrey Smith known to his family and friends as Jeff, and by a few affectionately known as "Aero", passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 23, 2024.

Jeff entered this world as a premature baby on October 5, 1963 and left us as a bigger than life character loved by his family. In his life, Jeff loved to camp and fish. He would pack up his old truck and popup camper, and take whoever wanted to go with him, to spend days enjoying the beauty of the Colorado mountains.

Jeff was a joy to his family and we will always have special memories of the time we spent with him during his life.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Jeanine Smith, brothers Dan (Barbara) Maloy, Jim Smith, and his sister Rachael (Richard) Doyle and by two nephews who loved him, Gage Smith and Spencer Doyle.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Paul "Bud" Smith and his beloved grandmother, Hazel Nite.

Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
