Manuelita Andrea Montoya, 25, gained her wings on December 21, 2023, in a tragic car accident on her way to work. Andrea was born on May 26, 1998, in Alamosa Colorado, to Blanca Estella Castanon Montoya and Andres Montoya. Andrea leaves behind two beautiful babies, Blanca Mora (age 7) and Eliijah Mora (age 3), both who she loved dearly. Andrea was married to Rodolfo Mora III, who passed away November 12, 2022.

She will live on through her children, father, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Andrea was the first to graduate in her class in the Fall of 2015. She continued her education and obtained her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. She loved spending time with her family and watching her kids excel in sports. She was their greatest supporter. Elijah has been able to dribble a basketball since he was one years old, and he can throw a football with great accuracy. Blanca has a passion for wrestling and would compete year-round, always bringing back trophies and medals to her mom. Andrea would always tell everybody that her babies would become rich and famous and take care of their mom when they got older.

Andrea was a free spirit who lived in the moment and loved to travel. She recently traveled to Miami, Puerto Rico, Atlanta, and the Dominican Republic.

Andrea was preceded in death by her husband Rodolfo Mora III, mother Blanca Estella Castanon-Montoya, Sister Claudia Castanon, grandpa Henry Montoya, and grandma Carmen Munoz.

Although it pains us to say goodbye, we know we will see her again.

A prayer service will be held for Andrea at 6 p.m. on December 29th, 2023 at the Grace Chapel Church in San Luis Colorado. A funeral service will held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 30th, 2023, at the Grace Chapel Church. She will be laid to rest in the Grace Chapel Cemetery.
