Linda Dianne (Belt) Hinds went to be with her Lord on July 17th, 2026 at the age of 87 in Alamosa, Colorado. Linda was born on the 16th of June, 1939. She was the daughter of Nellie and Ethridge Belt.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert (Bob) Hinds in November, 2025. She is survived by her children, Charlotte (Dale) Manhart of Grainfield, KS, Tracy (Jay) Moore of Farmington, NM and Robb Hinds of Colorado Springs, CO; her cherished grandchildren LeAnn (Jason) Ostmeyer, Sarah (Eric) Jarvis, David (Katie) Manhart, Kendyl (Matt) Simons and Austin (Nicole) Moore and 14 great-grandchildren.

Linda was born into the family honey business which was founded by her grandfather. When she married her high school sweetheart, Bob, he made the bee business his vocation. Linda earned her degree in Medical Technology at CSU in Fort Collins, CO and worked for a number of years at the La Jara Clinic and Conejos County Hospital as a laboratory technologist. Linda was intelligent, witty and artistic.

Together Linda and Bob created a beautiful home. She fashioned her own home decor which blended well with the beautiful wood work pieces created by her father and the art made by her husband, Bob. Linda was also a good cook and enjoyed making meals that were healthy and delicious. She passed her talents, faith in God, and her passion for healthy living on to her family. Linda will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Linda’s life on (8/15/2026) at 1pm at Rogers Family Mortuary at 205 State Avenue in Alamosa, Colorado. Interment will follow services at La Jara Cemetery.
