Longtime valley resident La Nella Goodge, 90 passed away Monday May 24th, 2021 at the Rio Grande Inn in La Jara. She was born March 7, 1931 to Louis and Celesta Richardson. On February 5, 1951, she married Joseph Lee Goodge in the Salt Lake Temple. La Nella was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She is survived by her children Terry (Ruby) Goodge, Susan (Richard) Dunn, and Jerry Goodge, her sister Bette Horton, brothers Dewey, Lee, and Pete Richardson. 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sweetheart Joe, brother Richard Richardson, son Kenny Goodge and grandson Nicholas Goodge.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday May 27, 2021 at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Manassa. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday May 28, 2021 at the Fox Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Fox Creek Branch missionary fund.
